We are looking for a mid-weight full stack developer with at least 3 years’ experience. It is essential that candidates have:

  • Built an online booking system.
  • Built a fully functional website/web app working on the backend and the frontend
  • Worked on a project from the initial phases to the final launch
  • Experience with C#, MVC, Web API Development experience and Angular
  • Knowledge about TDD,CI/CD Pipeline (for e.g. CircleCI,TeamCity etc).
  • Experience with source version control (Github).
  • Experience in building API interfaces.
  • Experience in microservice architecture.
  • Agile experience and able to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

This level of experience is required because our client needs to build something that scaleable, future proof and fully functional and integrated with APIs and various components.

The successful candidate will need to do a technical discovery and make software recommendations. They will also need to be able to demonstrate that they care about accessibility issues and be able to follow GDS patterns and end system. In addition, candidates must be able to demonstrate skills and aptitude to work with an apprentice or junior developer.

Pay Rate: £351.40 per day PAYE

This is a temporary, but possibly long term role.

“Essential Requirements” – Please check to ensure that your CV addresses the following items:

  • Qualifications:
    • Ideally educated to bachelor degree level and holds a relevant professional qualification.
  • Knowledge & Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
    • Demonstrates an understanding of current developments in the application of Information Systems and is able to assimilate and interpret advice from specialists - user researchers, service designers, product owners etc.
    • Expert in software tools which automate or assist part of the development process.

    • Proficient in understanding the IT / IS infrastructure, operating systems, configurations and the IT applications and service processes used within the organisation.
    • Proficient in testing techniques used to plan and execute software tests of all application components (functional and non-functional) to verify that the software satisfies specified requirements and to detect errors.
    • Proficient in applying methods and techniques for structured reviews, including reviews of technical work products, test plans, business cases, architectures and any other key deliverables. Examples: peer review, formal technical review.
    • Proficient in understanding corporate, industry and professional standards, policies, regulations, compliance and codes of conduct associated with the role.
  • Skills:
    • Demonstrable skills and aptitude to work with an apprentice or junior developer.
    • Able to take personal responsibility for project management, consistent with Agile principles.
    • Ability to follow GDS patterns and end system.
    • Possesses in-depth technical expertise in a variety of environments.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both formally and informally.
    • Ability to build appropriate and effective business relationships.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages.
