Infrastructure Engineer

Marcus Donald are currently recruiting an Infrastructure Engineer for an Investment bank in Central London.

As an Infrastructure Engineer your role will be to provide support and perform daily administration tasks on the clients IT Infrastructure (inc. servers, storage and telephony), participate in the delivery of various IT projects, and act as the escalation point to the Desktop Support Engineers.

Key Responsibilities for Infrastructure Engineer:

• Day to day administration of the companies IT Infrastructure inc. Windows Servers, Storage, Voice, Network.
• Provide local IT, telephony and system support for users running Windows, MS Office, Market Data and other business applications.
• Ensure that all problems are accurately logged within Helpdesk system, resolved promptly and efficiently or escalated where appropriate.
• Document new and update existing IT procedures.
• Assist with projects of all sizes including technology infrastructure and software projects.

• VMware
• Windows 2008/Window 2012
• Exchange 2013, SCCM 2012
• SharePoint
• Active Directory
• Networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
• Remote Access tools
• Mobile device configuration (Blackberry Unified Messaging)
• Storage Area Networking (HPE 3PAR)
