Commercial Analytics Consultant (Remote)

Position Summary:

The Commercial Analytics Consultant will be a key member on the Commercial Analytics team within the PrecisionQ – Precision Care Quantified – business unit. The individual will work to generate insights and create valuable analytical output for Pharma, Biotech and the Healthcare sector in the Precision Medicine space. The analyses will be based on de-identified health care data from Electronic Medical Records, health claims, pharmacy claims and genomics data for Oncology patients.

This position is focused on insight generation that help drive Value-Based Care for Cancer Patients by optimizing high-quality patient care and improving outcomes. This Consultant will report to our Director of Commercial Analytics.

**This is a part-time contract/consulting opportunity expected to run through the end of 2020**

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation of data-driven insights for Pharma, Biotech and life science companies.
• Collaborate closely with the members of the analytics, data administration, and data abstraction teams to transform curated healthcare claims, electronic health records, pharmacy dispensing, and patient-reported outcomes into high-value information for biopharmaceutical and life-science companies clients.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and programming of business rules to accurately reflect real world treatment.
• Create effective data visualizations and presentations from analytical output.
• Attend client meetings to understand project objectives and present results of analyses.
• Engage in analysis on current treatment landscapes, market share, patient journey and lines of therapy, variability in practice patterns and uncovering areas of opportunity/unmet need for biopharmaceutical and life-science companies clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree Degree in Science, Analytics, or Healthcare-related field.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing real-world data (RWD): electronic health records, medical claims, pharmacy dispensing, patient-reported outcomes, and drug market data in the US.
• Expert in SQL programming. This includes extracting and transforming data from relational databases, creating new data fields according to business rules, loading data into SQL tables, and generating analytics using SQL.
• Advanced data visualization skills using PowerBI.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in statistical data analysis and machine learning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
