Web Developer (Ruby on Rails) - Remote The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our client, a multinational IT company specialized in consumer products (hardware software) and services. Location Fully Remote within United States Duration 12-month contract with possibility of renewal. Candidate must be eligible for direct W2 contract employment. Job Descriptions The Web Developer will be responsible of the development and design of web applications and components. You will Design, code, test, and implement web sites and applications, for either internal or external uses. Troubleshoot and resolve issues surrounding performance, response times, capacity and system limitations. Responsible for creating and modifying documentation corresponding to websites. May collaborate with internal business partners, internal technology resources (database, system, networking) and with external vendors. Maintain and update websites and ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across organization. Job Requirements Minimum 7 years of application development experience using Ruby on Rails. Must have web application experience, both front end and back end development. Team leading experience. Experience in architecture and design of API's that are consumed. Understanding of RSPEC, PostgreSQL, and RESTful API's concepts and best practices. Clear and efficient communication skills with both technical and business teams.
