UX Web Designer (Remote)

Our client is looking for a UX / UI designer to join on an initial 3 – 6 month contract with a view to extend thereafter. The role will be remote work from home.

You will be heavily involved in supporting the online presence and simplified customer experience of the clients digital platforms including Apps. You will also understand and translate the unique requirements of customers into wireframes, mock-up’s, prototypes, and final visual references.  

Key Skills / Experience:

• Excellent UX and UI design experience 
• A solid background in user-centred design (UCD), interpreting user research and user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns 
• Standard UX + Design tools, ie. Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite etc.
• Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a distinct advantage.
• Understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs/vision.
• Extensive experience in UX and UI best practices to design solutions coupled with a good understanding of mobile-first and responsive design 
• Ability to repeat designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently 
• Ability to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to teams and clients 
• Can work effectively in a team setting including synthesising abstract ideas into concrete design implications
