UX Designer | UX Product Designer | Agile | £350 - £450pd l Outside IR35 | UK | Remote
Method Cloud are partnered with a business that is undertaking a large scale transformation and are looking for a UX Product Designer to help their new application. The new designer will collaborate with the product team in crafting an optimal user experience of a new web based platform.
You will be working be working as part of a wider team (contractors and perm) and while you'll be working remotely, we're are looking for a team player who can take initiative and get things done.
This is a 3 month rolling contract and while the rate is yet to be finalised, the role has been determined outside of IR35. We have interview slots for the 1st week of May and will be looking to move swiftly in getting the project started.
Key Accountabilities
Engage with product managers, business analysts and developers, to understand business requirements from the perspective of an end-user Collaborate with the product team to understand how all aspects of a product's functionality work within an established visual design framework Advise on best design practices and present reasons and context behind design decisions Effectively manage vendor expectations and instruct work of other UI designers Participate in validation usability testing directly with end-users Analyze user feedback to influence the future design decisions Document visual design guidelines in the component-based design system Create a well-organized prototype file system Knowledge and Experience
3+ years of experience in this field Strong portfolio with 3-4 case studies that demonstrate design abilities Experience working across multi-disciplinary teams Experience creating prototypes and hi-fidelity mock-ups Solid knowledge of accessibility and usability standards High proficiency with a standard UX software, we use Adobe XD Familiarity with HTML/CSS/Angular This role is being sourced by Method Cloud, a Salesforce Recruitment Company.
