Sr. Java Engineer (API experience) – 100% remote
Are you a Senior Java Engineer with experience designing and building APIs from scratch? Our client is seeking a talented Java Engineer with strong Spring Boot skills working with AWS DynamoDB. This is an exciting project that will be supporting a location and menu API platform.
This is a full-time, 6-12 months contract, consulting opportunity for our client in the Atlanta area. This position is 100% remote and must be willing to work east coast hours - 8:30 am - 5 pm EST. PLEASE NOTE: W-2 candidates ONLY, no C2C allowed.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related discipline required.
Experience: 7+ years’ experience as a Java engineer working on enterprise level applications.
Strong experience working with Java v8+ and Spring Boot.
Experience working with AWS DynamoDB strongly preferred.
Experience with Kubernetes and some DevOps skills preferred.
Must be able to work in a highly autonomous and collaborative environment.
Experience in an Agile / Scrum environment is preferred.
