SC cleared Interaction (UX) Designer - GDS
A major central government organisation is seeking a SC cleared Interaction Designer to join them on an initial 2 month contract, outside IR35.
The role will be fully remote until returning to the office part-time, if extended.
Candidates must have an active SC clearance, used within the last 12 months, and unexpired.
Experience required:
Previous experience of interaction design work within a government or health setting using gov.uk/NHS design patterns and systems Experience with working with constraints and ability to identify, challenge, and adhere to them. Knowledge of best practices in interaction design, and the ability to embed them into an agile workflow to deliver timely outputs. Good time management and the ability to work autonomously. Ability to use prototyping techniques and methods and can show the value of prototyping to relevant teams Adept at providing simple, clear visuals to communicate complex issues Confident communicator: able to persuade; negotiate; influence; network; and work with stakeholders Ability to get to the heart of an issue quickly and clearly Knowledge of agile ways of working and user-centred content design Experience in using metrics and user feedback to iterate design solutions Experience in choosing the best format for displaying information to the us SC cleared Interaction (UX) Designer - GDS
