Description:
This position will be responsible for creating reports and designing programs to acquire data from multiple sources. Develop and implement data collection systems for use by stakeholders and provide technical expertise regarding data models and data mining. The ideal candidate will be adept at writing queries and extracting data to populate dashboards. Advanced ETL, SSIS, SSRS and Power BI, and some cloud experience is a must.
The ideal candidate will
• designs and performs data extraction, assessment, translation, transformation, and load (ETL)
• take ownership of reports and dashboard creation
• possess strong technical skills
• have the ability to learn quickly.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
3+ years of experience in software engineering
Must have proficient experience in coding in SQL, SSIS/other ETL tool
Strong experience in writing SSRS reports
Strong knowledge of dashboarding tools including Power BI or Tableau – proven ability to program new dashboards
Cloud experience in AWS, Databricks, AWS, Airflow is a strong plus
Demonstrated ability to work independently but at the same time be an awesome team player
