We’re looking for an eager software developer to help us build out core product features. You’d be working full-time remote, with flexible hours, on a team of remote and local developers.
RESPONSIBILITES
Engineers are generally expected to assist with:
- Building, and developing core product features
- Testing and ensuring quality
- Implementing creative design and styling of the application
- Check-in with product and engineering leads
- Participate in brainstorming and sprint planning sessions
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be a team player and confident in what they know
- Experienced with React.js including demonstrating a strong grasp of fundamentals
- Familiar with React Native, possibly having worked on a mobile application before
- Have a firm grasp of the Flexbox layout model
- Familiar with promise-based async development in ECMAScript 6 (or later)
- Familiar with Git-based development, including how to branch, commit, merge, and rebase
- Understand basic SQL database fundamentals. Experience with PostgreSQL preferred
- Understand Node.js and principles of REST-based APIs. Experience working with GraphQL a plus
Interested candidates should be able to work 40 hours weekly on a monthly remote contract basis with a valid US residency.
