A leading telecommunication service provider has a job requirement for a Principle Security Architect to join their growing team in Hook. Our client are in the business of connecting and improving the digital fabric of the UK and Ireland. They have invested billions into expanding their network so they can connect millions more homes and businesses to it. Project Lightning is giving more people the opportunity to enjoy our award-winning ultrafast services. This includes the UK's fastest widely-available broadband speeds. However, this particular job will be working on internal Cyber Security projects.
Your new job in Hook
Based on a prestigious client site in Hook, you will be responsible for Global Security, delivering high quality services and creative solutions across Network, Systems, Applications, Voice, Mobile and Wifi platforms. This will include working with Solution Architects, engineers as well as various other departments where you will review and challenge design documentation and oversee the project implementation ensuring the correct methodologies are being followed such as ITIL.
You may also be involved in the testing of web-based applications such as HTML, Java and Python and you'll then be required to feedback to developers what issues you've come across and how best to fix them. You will not be required to re-code yourself but you will be required to give expert advise on how to tackle problems.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful Principle Security Architect based in Hook will have excellent organisation skills and you'll be Focused on customer delivery.
You will also have experience with the following:
· Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies such as AWS and Azure and their related security best practices
· CISSP , OSCP, OSCE or similar security certifications.
· Understanding of Web application technologies such as Java, HTML, Python and their security best practices.
· Knowledge of network products such as Cisco and Juniper
