Experienced Ruby Developer (Remote - Full Time)

Stack Builders is an Agile software consultancy based in New York with offices in Quito, Ecuador.

We are looking for a remote contractor with a very solid Ruby on Rails background and experience working with agile methodologies to become a member of our team.

We are looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails developer who is passionate about high quality code and willing to join a team who takes clean code and TDD very seriously. The ideal candidate would be fluent in English and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Requirements

• An advanced English is required since all internal communications are conducted in this language.

• Effective communication and leadership skills are highly appreciated.

• We use Git and version control for all projects and expect proficiency in using them.

• This position would require a commitment to provide 40 hours a week.

• Additionally, as modern applications demand, some knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem is required as well, such as webpack, transpilers, and testing frameworks.

Nice to have:

• Development experience with GraphQL.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
