Data Scientist

My client is a global investment bank looking for an experienced data scientist to focus on statistical and scientific insights into large quantities of data to help with a number of strategic initiatives and cost saving plans for the bank this year. The ideal candidate will be able to offer valuable insights using a number of different techniques.

Essential skills:

• Python (or another programming language) and PL/SQL
• Experience with Spark/Hadoop
• Experience/ proof of offering analytical insight into a similar organisation, financial services experience is preferred but not completely essential
• Use of visualisation tools/MI dashboards (Qlikview, Power BI, Tableu etc).
