BI Developer - SQL Server 2016 - SSAS - Tabular - MDX - Power BI - Kimball - 6 month contract - £400 per day - Birmingham
One of UK's leading organisations require a BI developer to assist with various greenfield projects for 2019.
Due to a significant period of growth, the client is looking to architect and deploy up to date BI tools and technology stacks. My client is looking for candidates with strong SSAS/Tabular and multidimensional cubes experience.
Responsibilities;-
Designing SSIS packages, and implementing MDX calculations
Processing presentation schema into a tabular model in SSAS
Creating Power BI reports and sourcing them directly from the tabular model
Technical requirements;-
SQL Server 2016
SSAS
Tabular
SSRS
Multidimensional eXpressions (MDX)
Power BI
Strong understanding of Datawarehouse architecture, and methodologies (Kimball)
