Application Packager

The role is in the Platforms team as part of the Corporate Banking area of the bank. The role will require experience packaging end to end as they will be a single member for packaging to begin with so will be required to hit the ground running. Use of virtual machines and AppSense is a must as it is used for personalisation within the environment.

• Administrator level understanding of Win7 and Win10
• Experience of Windows registry
• Experience of application packaging methodologies and toolsets (MSI, Virtual Machines, Appsense etc)
• AD understanding and administration • Image creation and deployment, e.g. MDT, creation of WIM's, task sequences, etc.)
• Windows scripting languages, PowerShell etc.
• Systems management using Microsoft
• Team consists of 4 Migration Engineers and an Administrator reporting into the Project Manager
• Experience of Windows registry and file system.
• A thorough administrator level understanding of Windows 7 and Windows 10
• Knowledge and practical experience of application packaging methodologies and toolsets (MSI, Virtual Machines, Appsense etc.)
• Active directory understanding and administration (specifically in the area of group policy management)
• Image creation and deployment, e.g.
• Ability to liaise with colleagues and suppliers at all levels of seniority • An excellent team player
• The ability to negotiate with difficult and demanding customers.
• The ability to demonstrate key behaviours, such as drive, resilience and innovation.
