Overview SkyePoint Decisions is currently recruiting for personnel for immediate hire. This includes a Software Developer who works remotely from home during the pandemic, but after the pandemic this position would offer a mix of remote work plus on-site work each week. This will be a five-year contract. This role will support the Department of State and this position will be in Washington, D.C. This individual will have at least 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, with the most recent experience being related to Microsoft ASP.NET enterprise development. Responsibilities bull Have the capability to convert symbolic statements of problems into appropriate specifications for coding computer systems identifying functions to be programmed, information-processing techniques used, and data representation. bull Prepare documentation, conduct program tests, correct program errors, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program standards, output requirements, input data acquisition, and programming techniques and controls, and the capability to troubleshoot applications in a production environment. bull Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. bull Work independently, with management in review of results. Qualification Requirements bull Must possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher. bull Must have at least 5 years or more of relevant software development experience (ASP.NET). bull Must have an excellent understanding of enterprise-level databases or how Software Developers need to interact with databases and maintain data security. bull Having client facing experience and good communicationsoft skills is preferred. bull Recent experience supporting the federal government in an enterprise environment is preferred. bull The ideal candidate will possess an active security clearance. A candidate in order to pass a background check for the federal government.
