Quality Test Engineer - Agile, Banking, Transformation
Quality Test Engineer is required for a large well-known & well-respected Financial Services Client in Halifax. Initial contract until the end of 2018 paying up to £297 per day.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer who will join a large People Transformation Project. The successful candidate will be expected to work with respective testing teams to define the test plan from a Quality perspective and deliver Test solutions in line with the Test Strategy and Quality Engineering principles.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Quality Engineering background with a deep knowledge of Test Lifecycle, Test Models, Best Practices, Test Benchmarking and Test Tools.
Experience of effective quality testing in large business transformation programmes across multiple business areas
Experience of working in a dynamic agile delivery environment
Working knowledge across the entire Test Lifecycle including Quality Engineering, Performance Engineering, Test Data and Environments
The ability to develop automated testing using tools i.e. Selenium, Cucumber, Perfecto, Appium, Cloud based and Performance test tools, Continuous Integration Tools etc
The ability to multitask and problem solve
Excellent attention to detail with excellent written / verbal communication skills
Good communication and ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure.
