Multiplayer Level Designer (Remote)

Vertex Studios is looking to hire a highly qualified candidate as a Multiplayer Level Designer for an unannounced Multiplayer FPS game. We strive to create the highest quality games for the market. We are a new studio and we plan on plenty of room for growth within our company. Vertex Studios is looking for a talented, highly driven, and passionate Level Designer. Responsibilities :

• Create stunning levels, that consist of three-lanes, and have solid gameplay flow
• Be able to communicate with other studio talent across the board with Google Hangouts
• Have a strong eye for balance at a high level of competition
• Craft layouts that work for multiple gamemodes
• Knowledge with spatial layouts

Qualifications :

• 3 years of experience with Level Design, Shipped titles are a plus, but not necessary.
• 3 years experience with Unity Engine
• Must have at least a High School Diploma
• Experience with rapidly prototyping game features, levels, setups, and sequences

Preferred Qualifications :

• Knowledge with Unity C#
• Experience with 2D graphic design software i.e. Photoshop
• Additional knowledge with other level editors (Hammer, Radiant)
• Experience with 3D modeling applications (Maya, Blender, or 3DS Max)
