A well-known, industry leading EdTech coming is looking to hire a Frontend Software Developer. They offer a cloud-hosted, multi-tenant platform used by students and educators to facilitate learning from grades K-12. Their software offerings allow teachers to create actionable assessments, differentiate their instruction based on student's needs, make their classrooms a more equitable space, and use data-driven insights to inform their instruction. Within the past year, many schools have relied on their Distance Learning program to ensure that their students are still learning during these difficult times.
As a Frontend Software Developer on their engineering team, you would be adding further functionality to their existing products as well as creating new features. You will develop rich web-based and mobile experiences using Javascript (React) and Java frameworks. In this role you'll be spending 90% of your time working on the UI but will have exposure to working on backend APIs in Java occasionally.
Their ideal candidate would be local to the Greater Boston Area. Unfortunately, they can’t offer visa sponsorship at this time.
