Salt are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join a client of theirs based in Central London on an initial 3 month contract. The client is an exciting start up of which you will be joining a founding team of over 40 experienced startup characters and entrepreneurs in their state-of-the-art HQ. Your goal will be to help build their first ever data Platform in order to help understand the business better and drive performance.

Responsibilities / Activities:

• Working with our Operations, Commercial and Growth teams to plan a data cube

• SQL Expert

• Writing views in Postgres/Redshift SQL/BigQuery SQL syntax

• Adding new data sources (such as Facebook Page Insights) to our data warehouse

• Running ad-hoc queries and analysis

• Training members of staff to become more data literate
