I have an urgent requirement for an experienced 3rd Line Network Engineer for a global IT Services provider. Responding to 3rd Line tickets/incidents providing technical solutions, in particular for Managed Firewall Services.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide a response to all incidents relating to Firewall Management, Incident Diagnostics, Bug Fixes and Upgrades to Software across various devices, Config' Backup and Restore
- You will form part of the escalation team for technical expertise
- Provide technical assistance to all on-going projects, and transition of any new clients, as and when required
Skills / Experience required:
- You must have a minimum of 3 years commercial experience working in a SLA driven technical support environment
- Proven commercial experience delivering project-based work and complex changes
- Extensive experience with the likes of Fortinet, CheckPoint, HP, Palo Alto, Citrix NetScaler, any Cisco technologies (Routing and Switching)
- Any experience with Cisco Call Manager or Cisco Nexus is highly desirable.
