The Web designer/programmer supports the Webmaster and works as a programmer for corporate and client websites. Identify and implement technology solutions, clarify objective for programming, managing content, creating and maintaining web design and answering consultation questions. Strong attention to detail, creativity and knowledge of information technology are all highly sought-after qualities in the right candidate.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
Publish content, maintain continuity of web themes and modify web files. Must be proficient with Dreamweaver, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Responsive Design frameworks, and design software to maintain client websites. Strong communication skills and an up-to-date awareness of marketing and web techniques.
Adhere to corporate use of online technology, best practices, and consistent performance and design standards in order to achieve organizational and partner client communications goals.
Train self and seek out training to support programming methodologies, emerging technology and applications, and/or skills required to proficiently perform job functions and responsibilities.
Diagnose and repair any problems with the websites within guidelines for performance, browser capability, accessibility, and best practice standards.
Plan, develop, document, test, and troubleshoot web-based applications, and report issues with functionality to Webmaster.
