Templeton and Partners are seeking a Quant Developer/Quant Analyst for one of our multinational clients within the Oil & Energy sector on a contract basis for 1 year with the potential to extend. This position is a yearly contract with the potential to extend and will be operating INSIDE IR35. This will be remote working until further notice then they would need the ideal candidate to be based in their London office.
My client is looking for an experienced Quant Developer/Quant Analyst below:
- More than 5+ years experience as a Quant Developer / Quant Analyst
- Produce accurate, performant, and maintainable code
- Experience with Phyton o Packages: Numpy, SciPy, Sickt-Learn or Keras or Tensorflow
- Power Trading/Commodities Experience
- Experience in working with low granularity time series data
- Experience in working with Data Engineers to get the most out of ETL processes
- Experience with Azure (Blobstorage, Cosmo DB)
- Familiarity with storage quality practices – (Gold/Silver/Bronze)
- Stakeholder Management
- Experience with implementation of Big Data which supports large amounts of data.
- Familiar with Data - i.e. deployment of Data pipelines and add data sources.
