Are you a Frontend Developer with a passion for designing and implementing user interfaces?
We are partnering with a client that develops solutions that allow users to access this content on the next generation of hardware within the home. They are one of the leading vendors to media businesses globally, counting many of the largest cable operators within their customer base.
Skills & Experience:
We are looking for someone that has a strong mix of the following skills and experience:
- User Experience: Proven knowledge of designing user interfaces and user experiences
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining React applications
- Proven ability to take ownership of requirements development, unit test writing right through to implementation
- Knowledge of using and creating JavaScript applications using the NodeJS platform
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting build and development tools such as Jenkins, GIT or groovy.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with partners and customers to capture and drive user interface requirements and translating them into mock-ups before implementing them to code
- Designing and implementing new features and bug-fixes
- Perform end to end testing of application code as well as execution of implementation activities
- Resolving technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
- Familiar around standard concepts, practices, and procedures in React/JavaScript development and UX Design
Please note, this is a 3 month initial rolling contract working 100% remotely. You will be part of a programme that will go on until at least 2022.
