Hey there!! Our small design studio is growing and is currently seeking a talented freelance junior graphic designer to join our design team and help us in producing high-quality design projects with a unique and bold look. We're looking for someone who has an obsession for design and some knowledge of marketing a plus. Work will include but not limited to designs for websites, social media posts, print material, advertising, etc. We have some fun projects so thinking creatively is a MUST!
You will be required to deliver on special tasks for the completion of projects and create unique ideas to improve projects. Your contribution will add value to the team and the end product, directly impacting our clients’ satisfaction and success. This position is a freelance opportunity and would be performed remotely. We're super flexible with schedules and times, as long as the work is completed with high quality. At times, quick turnaround (24-48 hours) for projects may be required; responsive communication and delivery is essential. We estimate the workload to be an average of 40 hours per month and may be more or less at times.
Requirements and Essential Skills:
· Passion for graphic design and an understanding of how it fits in with marketing
· Creative ideas
· A bold, unique design aesthetic
· Prior experience as a junior designer
· Design portfolio showcasing ability to create compelling print and digital designs
· Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
· Demonstrate creative thinking and conceptual ability
· Passion for design, attention to detail, and a keen eye for typography, proportions, relationships and visual balance is essential
· Adhere to brand style standards for fonts, colors and images
· Strategic thinking is a must; good design is rooted in purpose not just visual attraction
· Comfortable working independently
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Most importantly, possess a great attitude, energy, and excitement to be part of a talented team that does good work for good clients!
Responsibilities:
