Key Role:
Leverage knowledge of the basics behind the Internet and its workings, including DNS, security, IP routing, HTTP, VPN, e-mail routing, and SPAM. Configure and set up Cisco Firewalls, VPN, and security appliances for access to vital business applications. Configure and maintain high availability (HA) complex switching environments, including a multi-site network. Assist with the design of multi-server environments, including IP address schemes, DNS, Ether-Channel, and LACP. Configure and install client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining network and telecommunication systems, administer security procedures, ensure system back-ups, and monitor and make recommendations to improve network performance. Supervise the administration of systems and servers related to the network to ensure availability of services to authorized users. Basic Qualifications:
