Position: Senior Software Engineer(Node.JS)

Location: Remote

Duration: 3-6 months w/possible extensions

Key Skills: Node.js, JavaScript, any relational Database exp with any one of the programming languages(Java/Python/Ruby)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of server-side software development experience
• 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming or functional programming Advanced level expertise in any one modern software development language, for example, Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, etc.
• Solid expertise in building highly scalable, distributed, loosely coupled systems
• Deep knowledge of concurrency, resiliency, and caching
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack, Google Compute or App Engine, Hadoop, etc.) very desirable
• NoSQL experience (Cassandra, MongoDB) desirable but not required
• Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds to pick up documents/files, paper etc.
• Occasional reaching with arms and hands to reach corporate files and other documents.
• Ability to type on a computer and use other light office machines including but not limited to printers, copiers and phones.
• Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to read, write and complete company forms and documents.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
