Long-term opportunity for a Contract Software Engineer - C#/WPF to support in the development and improvement of critical applications.
Our client, a well-known provider of safety-critical electronics based near Twickenham are seeking an experienced Contractor to assist in the delivery of a crucial project for their customers.
This Contract allows for remote working with only occasional office presence required for meetings or product reviews and focuses on the upgrade of a current iteration from a C++ application through to a C# product.
You will be responsible for: - Designing, coding and testing Windows-based applications - Liaising with oversees development teams working on the same project - Assist with Bug Fixes on new tools
To be considered for the Contract Software Engineer - C#/ WPF opportunity in Twickenham, your experience will include: - Strong C# knowledge - Understanding of C++ - Experience in WPF, WCF, MFC - Knowledge of serial communications - ideally RS485 - A background in an Agile environment is beneficial but not essential
