Lawbite needed a complete redesign of their formerly desktop only web app in order to launch it on iOS and Android. My role on the project was to take the existing web app (never built with mobile in mind) and work alongside the design and development teams to convert it to a more mobile friendly format. 

This was achieved using Figma, Tailwind CSS and Ruby on Rails, with some exposure to StimulusJS.

The result was a fully functional responsive redesign that was ready to be launched on iOS and Android stores in time for the platform's V2 launch.

Pandle

Pandle is a bookkeeping app commissioned by a Canary Wharf and Wirral based accountancy practice, in active development since 2015. As features were added or updated, it became apparent that design inconsistencies were starting to creep in. In addition to this, as individual views became more complex, more and more code was being repeated to add additional UI elements.

The project's goals were:
- Minimize introduction of design inconsistencies across the Pandle UI as new features are added
- Promote and support DRY (don't repeat yourself) coding practices
- Create a "living" style guide where all components can be viewed and edited in a single location

Overview: Scale-up company building Mastercard's Travel Experiences digital loyalty offering via airport benefits. I managed the product and development for Mastercard Airport Experiences and Travel Experiences App and Web for a year, quadrupling the product offering in less than a year.
Product R&D - Web & App: Documented the technical proposition and wrote technical
product requirements to support the development activities (e.g., management briefs, RFI, RFPs, etc.). of 4 Mastercard digital products.
System Architecting: Investigated new SaaS, Cloud systems, and emerging technologies to integrate into Mastercard to boost process and product function inline with user and commercial objectives, including an AI Translation system.
Stakeholder Research: Worked closely with internal and external SMEs and 3rd partiesto gain insight into commercial and product strategy, translating into development requirements to build world-class products solutions.
API Management: Responsible for integrating and maintaining a vast range of API system integrations, and managing new integrations with suppliers and providers.
DevOps Design & Product Management: Implemented DevOps and Product Management processes to enhance group work outputs, communication, and knowledge tracking across the development lifecycle.
Service Delivery: Led the execution of terminal capability developments under initiative programmes and markets as needed, up to product launch of core systems: Global Airport Transfer service, Lounge network, Restaurant network, and Travel information integrated into multiple Mastercard and other bank apps and websites.
Internal Analytics Enhancement: Evaluated and integrated user analytics systems into the Mastercard, Visa, and Assurant products.
Team Building & Leading: Led a product team of 4 PMs to scale the product offering.
AI Solution Architecting: Ideated, scoped, tested, trained and integrated an AI translation system to drastically cut translation turn around times and costs, and provide quality localised content globally.
Feature & Module Research: Defined cohesive product strategies, functions, and key tracking metrics building deep consensus and alignment with all levels of stakeholder.
New Business & Internal Contribution: Worked across internal functions and third parties to assess, establish and manage partnerships for launching the product set.

MASTERCARD SENIOR PRODUCT OWNER

Convera

Overview: Led the onboarding transformation of Western Union business financial services division into a billion dollar Fintech branded Convera. I was focussed on the Digital Case Management solution for onboarding KYC exceptions screening and routing, and reimagining customer setup.
Digital Transformation: Supported the definition of product strategy & t roadmap and contributed to the evaluation and feasibility assessment of growth programmes. Strategised Convera's digital transformation from financial services to Fintech, spearheading the evolution of it's self-serve payment solutions.
Strategic System Architecture: Created the system architecture of the Digital Case Management solution, optimising KYC/KYB screening and outing of exceptions and customer data capture.
Collaborative Scope Definition: Collaborated with Product Managers, Senior Leadership, Operations, and Compliance SMEs to define business and user requirements.
Strategic Vision & MVP Concepting: Defined future-state vision and Minimum Viable Product for Pilot phase. Navigated project resource limitations & trade-offs.
Resource-Constraint Mitigation: Addressed resource constraints by optimising product scope and aligning development to requirements.
Training & Adoption Facilitation: Worked across functions including go to market, sales, commercial and market development teams to ensure training materials, compelling storytelling and market facing assets were effectively produced.

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER

I consulted with Microsoft clients across SaaS, Nuclear, Security, Education Automotive, Non-profit, and Health sectors to obtain business insights and requirements. I would then construct a roadmap to attain the client’s objectives, whilst leveraging Microsoft’s feature suite to drive consumption and satisfy both stakeholders. Consultees were typically C-level Executives, Directors, and Development Teams.
Working with a vast array of clients on high value projects, some products I helped deliver included COVID-19 response application (February 2020), casino security system, smart car application and accompanying application, a community welfare application, educational platforms, e-commerce SaaS, and APIs. Other projects included data migrations, cloud architecture configurations and streamlining operations/costs. I was also quickly asked with training/mentoring new teammates to swiftly bring them up to practising standard post-induction training.
The projects required broad knowledge of multiple industries, technologies, and frameworks including .NET, .NET CORE, NODE.JS, JAVA, PHP, RUBY. I would always ensure a strong cadence had been established with my consultees in attempt to ensure future business, and on occasion clients would request to involve me on additional side projects after realising the value I could deliver.

Founded by leading content and distribution veterans, TRX is a technology start-up aimed at transforming the TV/Film content distribution market with cutting edge software – manifesting as a SaaS license trading marketplace and suite of enterprise tools which deliver efficiency, increased revenue, and reach.
I began my professional career as a Customer Success Assistant, then fast-tracked to Manager. Additionally, I performed as Product Manager and Head of Marketing, as well as Sales capacities (pitching, demoing, market penetration and global/regional strategy, new business development and client entertainment) . I was involved with the Beta and Live launch, product iterations, road mapping, backlog management, requirement gathering, UI/UX design, testing, sales and business development, client entertainment to attain new/continued business, onboarding clients,

Leading marketing strategy and designing intuitive campaigns for our clientele to increase their understanding of our product and amplify our website traffic. I would use Google Analytics to track the success of our campaigns, in addition to the analytics tools Mailchimp and Intercom provided.

Pearson Vue is a medium sized multinational company that delivers high-stakes exams that empower professions to certify and license individuals who safeguard and advance their communities across the globe. I was employed part- time at Pearson during my full-time masters.
