The goal of this project was to build a digital service that allowed all aspects of Civil Law to be handled online - the service was limited to post prior to this.

Lawbite needed a complete redesign of their formerly desktop only web app in order to launch it on iOS and Android. My role on the project was to take the existing web app (never built with mobile in mind) and work alongside the design and development teams to convert it to a more mobile friendly format. 

This was achieved using Figma, Tailwind CSS and Ruby on Rails, with some exposure to StimulusJS.

The result was a fully functional responsive redesign that was ready to be launched on iOS and Android stores in time for the platform's V2 launch.

Pandle

Pandle is a bookkeeping app commissioned by a Canary Wharf and Wirral based accountancy practice, in active development since 2015. As features were added or updated, it became apparent that design inconsistencies were starting to creep in. In addition to this, as individual views became more complex, more and more code was being repeated to add additional UI elements.

The project's goals were:
- Minimize introduction of design inconsistencies across the Pandle UI as new features are added
- Promote and support DRY (don't repeat yourself) coding practices
- Create a "living" style guide where all components can be viewed and edited in a single location

UI React Front End development

Big Church Festival a music festival in deepest Sussex for 35,000+ people, situated on a 200-acre site. Before a ticket went on sale for 2020’s event I was enlisted to design and direct the following activity;    

Undertake a comprehensive rebrand, renaming, and brand messaging platform. Kicked off by a period of research (user/stakeholder/competitor), leading to the development of prospective strategic creative, and messaging routes. Formalised in the creation of an expansive brand toolkit, guidelines, and messaging platform.

Design and orchestrate a new ticket sales website. Writing the content plan, producing copy, devising user journeys, and developing product/explainer videos, promos, and highlight reels. I oversaw user-testing of wireframes, and finalised the design systems in Figma before handing over for development.
 
Direct media capture for yearlong marketing use - developing shot lists, concepts, and storyboards. Selecting, booking, and briefing film crews, photographers, and creative talents.

Directing the on-site physical brand experience from the car park to the firework finale, across multiple touchpoints (inc entry, venue/stage designs, signage, merchandise, decor, programmes, maps, donation journey, attractions, etc).

Design and development of large-scale structures and artworks (stages, facades, interiors, archways, etc). For each install, I typically work up proposals containing mood boards, references, and treatments, followed by development of 2D designs and/or 3D visuals. Development of branding activity and internal comms for global brands including adidas for who I devised a brand ID for their product design team ‘ecosystem’. I built out visual assets and a messaging platform to articulate their work to the wider business. Outputs included a variety of digital and physical materials including a brand book, deck templates, event collateral, and social assets.

Morrisons

Retail and packaging design for global brands including a radical re-imagining of Morrisons ‘Just for Kids’ food range. I designed and proposed brand concepts to senior leadership, putting creative routes into focus groups and iterating in response. I led creatively on the extensive rollout of 75+ lines; outworking illustration, storytelling, copy, packaging design, and directing product photography. This work was formalised into range guidelines before production of marketing and PR materials.
