Drupal Developer – OUTSIDE IR35
Background
A leading client of Venn Group plans to move its current web presence from the existing SharePoint environment to Drupal. Alongside this, all subsites, which are currently hosted in a range of environments, some of which are external, will be brought in house and run alongside the main site. The client will also review its requirements for the intranet and have a presence on the Drupal platform rather than existing SharePoint environment.
Purpose of the Post
In the first instance the client is looking to appoint a Drupal Site Builder who can work with the existing team and a contract architect to, building initial sub sites; to demonstrate the art of the possible with Drupal and assist in assessing the skills within the existing teams within the organisation to identify skills gaps and development paths. They must be able to:
They must also be able to identify how any sites developed can be supported in the short term taking into account the skills within the existing team. This work should enable the client to determine if additional support capacity is required during a transition from SharePoint to Drupal.
The transition to Drupal needs to be undertaken by the end of May 2021.
The individual will be dynamic and have the ability to work closely with senior officers within the organsiation, at the same time work alongside the existing web team which consists of Web Strategists, Front End Developers, Content Designers, Digital Analysts, with access to user researchers.
