Our client is seeking a contract Software Engineer to support Signal Processing Enhancements for an Airborne sonar system.

This has the flexibility to work remotely most of the time, with on-site being required at their office in South Manchester when needed.


  • Contribute to creating build environment for C/C++ applications in a target platform environment.
  • Analyse requirements, design software solutions and present options to System Engineering team.
  • Develop software to enhance signal processing capability of sonar system as per System Requirement Document (SRD).
  • Produce maintainable software with associated documentation.
  • Produce quality and robust software compliant with MISRA C/C++ coding standards.
