Job Description:

  • Develop and support critical trading applications for Capital Markets MBS portfolio. These projects require developers who has experience in working on complex enterprise applications, be knowledgeable about agile development process
  • Have technical know-how in Data Caching, Messaging, distributed systems, Spring, XML, Web Services, Tibco BW, Tibco EMS, HAWK, transactions and high availability/high resiliency systems

Skill Description:

  • Strong programming skills (java, jee, spring framework etc.) - at least 8 years
  • Experience in understanding & delivering complex enterprise scale applications that are resilient, high volume/throughput, low latency, transactional, scalable and fault tolerant
  • Strong knowledge of REST architecture (Java, Spring boot, Swagger/API Specs)
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies and Practices (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Development expertise in multi-tier/client-server architecture leveraging Java/JEE and its related/interfacing technologies - Spring, Hibernate, Maven, RabbitMQ messaging system
  • experience working with web & application servers (like tomcat, ngenix, weblogic etc.) is required.
  • Experience in UI (Angular, java script, css etc.) is a plus
  • Experience in data caching like Gemfire in memory database/cache is a

Linux Systems Engineer

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Agile experience preferred.

A TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph is required at time of hire. Candidate must be able to obtain the Polygraph within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position
General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) is seeking motivated candidates to join our insider threat detection, systems integration team. Our mission oriented team is responsible for the design, testing, deployment, maintenance, operation, and evolution of the systems directly supporting the insider threat detection program of a large government customer in the United States Intelligence Community (USIC). GDMS has an immediate opening on the team for a motivated Linux Systems Engineer with an agile mindset who is up to date with the latest Linux features and best practices. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that provides an opportunity to leverage cutting edge technologies in pursuit of a vital mission that protects people, sensitive information/technologies, and the national security posture of the USIC.

Core Responsibilities
  • Setting up and managing Linux systems, applications and environments and ensuring those systems comply with government security standards
  • Apache web server administration and configuration
  • Maintains High Availability infrastructure ensuring security compliances and high level performance while minimizing service interruption
  • Provide network systems securities through policy enforcement and monitoring access
  • Assists in the design of multi-server environments including IP address schemes, DNS, WINS etc
  • Troubleshooting network hardware and software applications, OS upgrades, and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services
The majority of work will be performed in Chantilly, Virginia, which is located approximately 25 miles west of Washington D.C., near the Dulles International Airport. The selected Linux Systems Engineer will support a 6+ year contract that General Dynamics recently secured.

Our client located in the Springfield, MA area is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed Windows System Administrator to assist the Windows Support Administration Team. This individual will be providing high level problem solving and technical expertise on various Microsoft platforms and services. You will be directly responsible for the security, engineering, operations, reliability, compliance and management of workflow and processes for our Windows Support Infrastructure.

This position offers the flexibility of working remotely, other than initial onboarding and similar rare short-term logistical needs.


路 Support Windows Operating System configuration and management.

路 Monitor, evaluate and enhance Windows Server Infrastructure for optimal performance, security and availability

路 Perform builds, upgrades, repairs and retirements virtual servers and appliances, utilizing peer resources and established work instructions for Windows Systems.

路 Actively participate in documentation including diagrams of Internal Infrastructure, utilizing full functionality of Confluence

路 Spearhead efforts around automation and configuration management of windows data center fleet
