The Creative Group is looking for a Front End Developer for an ongoing contract opportunity. This role will be fully remote, and will be 20-25 hours per week working for a large technology company.
This Front End Developer will be working on a variety of projects:
Developer duties, responsibilities, and requirements:
- Designing and building websites on the WordPress platform
- Managing all technical aspects of the web development process
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
- Generating custom WordPress and plugins as needed
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design for all websites
- Conducting website performance tests and quality assurance
- Troubleshooting site/content issues
- Conducting WordPress training with clients
- Expert understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
- Assist sales team with technical components of web project proposals
- Meeting with clients to discuss website design and functionality
