WordPress Developer Needed for Digital Marketing Agency (Remote)

We are seeking to add a driven, reliable, US-based WordPress Developer to our team! We are looking for someone who can help us develop and manage our roster of 70+ client sites.

Our company is looking for a WordPress web developer who can help build sites from the ground up using WordPress and platforms like Ocean WP and Elementor. Sites need to be clean, SEO-friendly, and provide a strong user experience. It is also a plus if candidates know their way around the DNS (A records, nameservers, MX records, cnames, etc). We have a high volume of builds, so being able to maintain a fast turnaround and meet deadlines while delivering quality projects is a must.

Our Web Developers are involved in all phases of a project's lifecycle and are routinely expected to take responsibility for guiding each assigned project to completion. We are looking for a self-starter who doesn’t just make a requested change, but also looks at how that change may affect other areas of the site and makes recommendations accordingly.

Portfolios are required for consideration - websites within portfolio must meet "Good" Optimization scores on Google PageSpeed Insights (https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/) and must be mobile responsive.

Responsibilities:

• Design, create, and modify Wordpress websites
• Help perform site rebuilds and site migrations, including transferring of all content and relevant SEO data
• Troubleshoot various items like contact forms and email hosting
• Perform site speed optimizations

Qualifications:

• Strong ability with navigating DNS
• Expertise in WordPress at every level
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at varying levels of difficulty and with varying timelines
• Strong knowledge of current web design principles, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), responsive website development, and usability standards
• Exceptional organizational skills, including time management and prioritization, and ability to grow leadership responsibilities

Must be available during standard work hours and highly responsive/communicative. Able to work remote.

Salary: $25.00 to $35.00 /hour
