WordPress Developer (Remote)

Position Summary:

Rabbit is a fast-growing, Austin based digital marketing start-up looking to hire a talented WordPress Designer & Web Developer. The candidate must be self-motivated and well disciplined. This position will require collaboration with our team to develop templated and custom websites in a variety of industries of varying complexity. The most important quality is that you have a complete and impressive WordPress portfolio. Candidates without extensive examples of websites built with custom or heavily modified WordPress themes will not be considered.

Position Responsibilities:

• Primary Designer/Developer of WordPress websites
• Build/code/customize WordPress themes
• Design and code HTML/CSS static landing pages
• Experience configuring and customizing various e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce & Shopify
• Ownership of existing site upgrades and integrations

Requirements:

• Expert WordPress designer & user
• Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and various Javascript libraries (JQuery, Angular, React, etc)
• Experience with Asana Project Management tool
• Experience with Gravity Forms
• Very high attention to detail, especially with regards to grammar, voice, and tone.
• Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. listening, negotiating, facilitating, managing conflict.)
• A willingness to work in a small and personal environment.
• An ability to handle constructive criticism.

Work Schedule:

As needed. Business hours between 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM CST.
