WordPress Developer (Remote)

Authority Networks is looking for someone to help out with website development updates, maintenance and new projects. If you have a passion for clean code and fast loading sites that adhere to Google webmaster guidelines and perform well in search, then you're the person we're looking for. We're looking for someone who can fit into our current development team and keep up with changes for multiple sites at a time. Please see below for more information.
We Need Someone Who Can:

• Design and code using HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript and more
• Help develop web solutions for a variety of applications
• Develop following established business rules and specifications
• Setup a testing environment for major site changes
• Write in high quality code according to the latest Google and W3C guidelines.
• Present and communicate timely and professionally
• Demonstrate the ability to successfully work in small and large teams
• Easily maneuver between common CMS's such as WordPress and Magento
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to the job
• Perform other similar duties as assigned

We Need Someone Who Has/Is:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
• 4-6 years of experience developing websites with a portfolio of work to share
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Proficient in cross-browser compatibility
• Proficiency in HTML email standards and email client compatibility
• Fluent in HTML/CSS and general web standards
• Fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite
• Fluent in JavaScript, PHP, MSSQL, and XML
