WordPress Developer (Remote)

Acrobatic Cow is a small design agency located in Hudson, WI that's looking to contract a WordPress Developer.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Update & Apply new themes to two sites for one company.
• Help with maintenance of a site with bug fixes and new features.

This contract will be from 2-3 weeks in length and anywhere from 10-20 hours per week. Based on feedback from clients, we hope to extend this contract for 2-4 weeks.

Requirements

• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Able to modify existing Plugins via PHP to extend capabilities

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $35.00 to $40.00 /hour
