About You:

We are looking to hire a skilled website developer to design and implement best-in-class websites for our law firm clients. The developer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including the implementation of custom WordPress themes as well as custom WordPress CMS development and security updates. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, with a preference given for experience developing with ReactJS, as well as a good eye for aesthetics and strong content management skills. The ultimate measure of success will be the creation of attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.

Our ideal candidate is comfortable developing primarily in WordPress with a focus on custom theme development butcan also work in a custom PHP/MySQL environment when needed. We are looking for a strong developer who can provide input and feedback throughout the whole design/development process and execute the ideas proposed based on current industry best practices. An ideal candidate is solution oriented, bringing workable options to the table when unknowns are encountered. Be prepared to challenge your assumptions and test them with data-driven knowledge.

This is a six-month contract position, with the opportunity for possible permanent employment for the right person.

Essential Functions:

· Maintaining and managing client website projects and updates

· Quality assurance for all websites, ensuring features and functionality are working prior to site launch

· Find solutions for project/client needs and identify opportunities

· Build custom websites based on company best practices

· Work closely with core LISI personnel as part of a cohesive and integrated team

Experience and Qualifications:

· Expert level knowledge of PHP and WordPress with experience in custom theme development

· Expert level knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

· Experience designing and developing responsive websites and the ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages

· Experience working with ReactJS (experience with Angular and Vue a plus too)

· Experience with third party API integration

· Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug

· Self-motivated, takes initiative, and is able to work independently with little guidance. Is comfortable working remotely.

· Strong communication skills.

· A healthy sense of humor

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $30.00 to $40.00 /hour
