Website Designer (Remote)

I am a sole proprietor looking for a talented Web Designer to help me increase my sales and appeal to my (1) online teaching and (2) shipping my products.

• Do you have experience in developing courses?
• Do you have an eye for clean and artful web design?
• Can you construct superior eye-catching user interface designs? The websites should work nicely in PC and Android and iOS.
• The successful candidate will provide me online links as examples of prior accomplishments in:

1. shopping cart designs
2. interactive and/or non-interactive online distant learning modules

. I am looking for beautiful, intuitive, and functional websites.

Responsibilities

• Build a powerful, flexible, online Course Module for ONE course, with easy navigation between chapters
• Table of Content, index, References, footnotes etc.
• Construct interactive self-grading quizzes
• I will provide all the subject matter and multimedia files and/or URLs
• Create flexible "placeholder" designs that I can easily modify to insert Training text and multimedia content easily, for different FUTURE topics
• Provide clear written instructions with EXAMPLES for me to update, add or remove content
• Provide easy way for potential worldwide students to enroll in my classes using secure online systems I already have

Skills

• Proven work experience as a web designer
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or a Visual Arts subject

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
