Specialist Web Developer
Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with Sefton Council to appoint a Specialist Web Developer to their Communication team.
6 week agency contract with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.
Hours – Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. (flexibility can be discussed)
Location – Remote Working / Working from home.
Rate of Pay – £360+ per day – Negotiable depending on experience. (Higher rates can be negotiated for more experienced candidates)
About the Role
Implement a new look and feel (based on already-approved designs) to the Sefton Council website (www.sefton.gov.uk). Ensure the new look and feel is compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. Ensure the new look and feel is fully scalable to different devices and screen sizes. Experience of UX design using Umbraco v7 and Umbraco Core Libraries. Experience of designing websites for WCAG 2.1 compliance. Experience of UAT. User Interface Design. User Experience Design. Wireframing. Knowledge of .net 4 / MVC / Bootstrap / CSS / Angular. Job Requirements
