Our client is a major research organization looking for a front-end developer to build the projects new open-source website.
Responsibilities:
Our end-to-end solution will be hosted on GitHub and built using a variety of web technologies (Bootstrap, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
We are looking for a front-end developer to build the projects new open-source website.
This candidate will be expected to:
- Deliver: build, test, validate and release a responsive website experience hosted on GitHub.
- Collaborate: work closely with research, design, data science, and the open-source community.
- Own: complete lifecycle of the website development with a focus on quality, efficiency and final mile polish.
- Development: produce a robust, clear and scalable technical solutions for user scenarios; high-quality code built on best engineering and open-source community practices to ensure long-term
- maintainability, reusability and success.
- Have technical expertise and strong track record in web engineering and high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience building front-end web applications with components, global design systems, and responsive frameworks for desktop-to-mobile web browsers.
- 2+ years of experience implementing accessibility standards for web as part of the component framework.
- 2+ years of experience with the following web technologies: Sphinx, Python, Java script, CSS.
- Experience with Bootstrap, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Disqualifiers does not have complete skill sets.
- Strong design integration skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working in Github, experience in publishing.
- Motion design integration skills a plus.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-team problem solving abilities and willingness to experiment to achieve the teams vision.
