GRID LLC is a unique cannabis-focused startup that was founded in 2020 and is based in
Boston, MA. GRID is seeking to provide medical and recreational cannabis users with an individualized cannabis experience, delivered to their home. Grid is seeking an experienced
Web Developer to assist in the development of our web application. This would be considered a
GROUND FLOOR role and the person who is brought on would have an opportunity to remain beyond the internship period, based on her or his performance. This would be an ideal position for someone who is seeking meaningful work experience to distinguish himself or herself in the job market, or would-be entrepreneurs who want to see what it really takes to start and build a new venture.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Understanding of AWS platform would be preferred
• Experience with web development languages such as HTML, JavaScript frameworks,

Ajax

• Experience with C#
• Knowledge of MSSQL Databases
• Knowledge of MVC Architecture and MVVM Web Applications
• Knowledge of version control such as GitHub Repository
• Primary Responsibilities and Opportunities

The Web Developer will be responsible for website coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and testing and evaluating new programs. The Developer will identify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently develop these modifications. He or she will be responsible for writing and implementing efficient code, determining operational practicality, and developing quality assurance procedures. The Developer will also deploy software tools, processes, and metrics, and maintain and upgrade existing systems.

The Developer will interact and work closely with other developers, UX/UI designers, business and system analysts, high level management, GRID's consultants, and Operational staff regarding new deployments. She or he will contribute to the overall development of project workflow for the web applications assigned.

This position will have the opportunity to be exposed to different ventures across a variety of industries and have the opportunity to work and interact closely with entrepreneurs, vendors, and members of the management team.

Special Requirements
This position will not require commuting to an office; almost all work will be conducted remotely.
Since the position will not require in person meetings, the ability to work independently and communicate effectively via email, phone and SMS is essential.
