Web Developer (Remote)

As our user base continues to grow, we’re looking to consolidate our various web applications and web services into a single platform for administering client services and providing an easy user interface. In addition, you will help manage the creation and maintenance of cloud databases.

You’ll work with our project manager to evaluate and define the scope of the work, estimate the development effort, and perform the development. While much of your work will be done independently, you’ll be expected to ask for help as needed and encouraged to make suggestions when appropriate.

This is a part-time, contract position that allows you to work remotely. Although we’ll want to take it slow when you begin, we have enough opportunities to provide 40 or more hours of work every month as you demonstrate your skills and enthusiasm for the projects.

Submit your resume demonstrating your experience with:

• Hands-on development experience using C# and ASP.NET Web development using MVC 4 and Razor 3 in Visual Studio IDE;

• Experience and solid understanding of all the following: AJAX, JSON, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS, HTML5, XML, XSLT and Web Services;

• Experience with SQL Server and SQL Express, Azure SQL, and SQL Server Management Studio;

• Solid understanding of IIS environments and configuration; and

• Experience with AZURE Platform, portal and deployment is a plus, as is experience with JS packages Knockout, Telerik, Validate and Tablesorter.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
