Clearance Level: Active DoD - Secret

Required Certification(s): DoD 8570.01-M/DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification. One of the following: MS Specialist Certification in Visual Studio, Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 (MS Exam 70-480), or programming in C# (MS Exam 70-483). If either of the certifications are superseded, then the position requires the updated or most current certification to be obtained.

SUMMARY:

The objective of this contract effort is to to provide Local Area Network (LAN) Administration and Support Services to the 403rd Army Field Support Brigade and Logistic Readiness Centers within the Republic of Korea. The general scope includes responsibility in performing work necessary to document, test, implement, integrate, maintain, research, track, or modify Active Directory (AD) objects and containers on the Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet), and coalition networks, in accordance with (IAW) the guidance contained in the current edition of the Army Chief Information Officer (CIO) C4IM catalog.

DUTIES:

  • Perform SharePoint Front-End Developer Capabilities
  • Design, develop, pilot, and implement highly scalable SharePoint automation solutions and creation of enterprise content
  • Include content design, creation and user support to end-users; employs out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities in MS InfoPath, MS Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, and related tools within the web application framework to automate critical business and information processes using forms, workflows, dashboards, search, taxonomies, and other front-end mechanisms to simplify data entry, validation, storage, retrieval and reporting
  • Create re-usable solutions available to support collaboration efforts across all networks (NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CENTRIXS-K); to include developing custom front-end solutions
  • Provide required SharePoint Portal support necessary to ensure optimal operation (i.e.: administration, integration, and troubleshooting all aspects of theMOSS portal and associated software applications and services)
  • Provide knowledge management plans, policy, and governance. Contractor supports the Government in KM planning, developing theater policy, and governing the administration of KM
  • Perform KM design, engineering, development, testing, deployment, training, and change management of the knowledge management software, systems, and networks.
  • Perform routine operations and maintenance on current SharePoint site collections and any future versions of SharePoint

Qualifications

Education and Certifications:
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or closely related field. Bachelor Degree can be waived with four (4) continuous years performing Custom Applications/Coding tasks
  • IT Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M/DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification. One of the following: MS Specialist Certification in Visual Studio, Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 (MS Exam 70-480), or programming in C# (MS Exam 70-483). If either of the certifications are superseded, then the position requires the updated or most current certification to be obtained.

Background Needed and Years of Experience:

  • Security Clearance Requirements: US Secret Clearance, Minimum Background Investigation complete NALC\with SSBI\T5 initiated
  • Experience Requirements: Two (2) of the last four (4) years performing Custom Applications/Coding tasks. The Contractor shall in-depth knowledge of coding the front-end of current SharePoint 2010 and 2013 platforms and future SharePoint platforms. Written application code in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3, JQuery, XML or C#.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must Have Technical Skills:
  • Possess the knowledge to install additional enhancement features to the SharePoint Portals such as advanced
    web parts, build templates, write stored procedures, perform basic database maintenance, and deploy features
  • Provide expertise in SharePoint application development and in all facets of Web services design, including user interface experience, automated report generation, and automation with other Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Executing SharePoint migrations from 2010 to 2013.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Strength Demands: Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
