Web Designer/Developer (Remote)

Are you a website designer? Great with managing multiple sites? How about managing servers and plug-ins? Nature Catalyst is seeking an experienced wordpress and server developer to completely overhaul various sites of ours, to include a few retail sites. To really shine in this role, we truly need this candidate to be development savvy, with minimal direction, and can continually seek ways to optimize, improve, and innovate the web experience for our customers, wholesalers, and affiliates. You will conduct research continually to stay up to date on trends within the retail industry to seek ways for our sites to stand out and help to increase sales and traffic. Additionally, you will advise us on the best practices to streamline and organize our digital platforms, plug-ins, and data. To be qualified for this role:

• You have a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• You are an expert in Adobe CC.
• Strong Seo expert
• You are a seasoned wordpress developer
• You are proficient in Javascript.
• You are well-versed in online CMS - Wordpress and/or Drupal preferred.
• You embrace emerging technologies that will help position us as a leader within the industry.
• You are energized by innovation.
• You have a good design eye - UI/UX is your expertise.
• You have experience designing and maintaining digital products and programs.
