Web Application Developer (Remote)

1027 is seeking a qualified Web Application Developer with a proven track record for building maintainable and scalable systems — both on the front and back end.

This role will be key towards the execution and scaling of a well capitalized startup.

This individual should be an extension of the leadership team — utilizing your expertise to advance product initiatives through consistently hitting expectations and targets.

What You Experience Requires:

• 5+ Years of proven software development experience in PHP — Including popular frameworks such as Laravel.

• Full stack - back end through front end experience. Vue JS experience a nice plus.

• Strong knowledge of MySQL & REDIS.

• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, SCSS/CSS, Javascript, AJAX, etc.

• Experience building RESTful web services.

• Ability (and desire!) to write unit and integration tests.

• Good knowledge of version control tools, and experience collaborating with developers.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent listening skills.

• Interface & organize product strategy documents to be presented — always backed by rigorous research and data with a clear path toward growth & execution.

• Relentless accountability for the execution of deliverables, always going above and beyond each time.

• Manage leadership and investor expectations through complete transparency and industry expertise.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute weekly sprint reporting & strategy sessions utilizing 1027 assets, and also continuing to introduce new tactics.

• Contribute to product strategy through existing knowledge, as well as continue to advance your skillset & expertise.

• Develop data-backed product strategies with ROI outcomes.

• Present monthly and quarterly deliverables, product roadmaps, & analytics.
