Beacon Hill Technologies has several opportunities for UX Designers on a 6+ month contract basis. We are currently looking UX/Product Designers and Mobile UX Designers.
Responsibilities
- Reframes requests as user centered problems and focus on crafting solutions
- Creates design deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, art assets and comps that address business and customer needs
- Anchors work in the Design Studio foundations: Design System, the Design Thinking Curriculum and Research
- Communicates design ideas and prototypes to developers
- Reconciles qualitative and quantitative research into actionable design recommendations
- Ensures consistency of experience across platforms
- Keeps abreast of competitor products and industry trends
- Works with the Research Capability Manager to conduct design validation such as usability testing
- Reconciles qualitative and quantitative research into actionable design recommendationst
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in visual or human-centered design
- UX mobile design experience
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results
- Strong Portfolio with a breadth of experience across a range of industries
- Ability to synthesize complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs
- Experience with both agency and client-side preferred
- Excellent communicator and storyteller with demonstrated ability to bring stakeholders across all roles and levels on a design journey and sell the ROI of experience and design
- Passionate about design, committed to excellence, and insatiably curious; a leader of teams that are equally passionate, committed and curious
- Experience working in an agile environment
