We are seeking an experienced UX Product Designer who has developed the skills required to deliver user-centric designs across platforms for Web, iOS and Android. As a Product Designer you will build design solutions using best design practices and common UX methodologies. Communicating effective design is part of the journey and by executing strong design you will help shape and deliver the best products for our customers.

You will be a part of the growing and highly creative design/product team. Working alongside other designers, product managers, senior stakeholders and developers. You will delve into the world of our customers and understand their needs and expectations.

Your approach will be shared with the design team and others within the wider team. Autonomously and together you will be responsible in crafting intuitive and inspiring user experiences for our customers, engaging them to buy and sell on their platform.

Key Requirements

5+ years of commercial experience and a colourful history in the design sector.
Understanding and practising common UX methodologies will come natural to you and you will be able to apply these to native Android experiences.
An experience with UX research & product management will help you within this role and guide you on your product responsibilities.
Creating prototypes will be part of your design life cycle and you will have used Axure, Invision, framerX, or other prototyping tools.

Key responsibilities

As the product designer you will be responsible for working within the team to execute outstanding UX, through excellent customer understanding and forward-thinking choreography throughout the user journey.

The other responsibilities are:

Work closely with design team, product managers and the engineering team to define, drive and execute the visual design for their platform.

Specify and prioritise the development of the product experience supported by business strategy.
User research, analysis and synthesis.

Set up experiments to test hypothesises, iterate and learn.

Coordinate the execution and delivery with the development team using agile methodologies.
Conduct demos and sharing sessions.

Actively measure and analyse existing products.

Explore a variety of user experience design directions in a rapid iterative fashion, incorporating feedback from users and other members of the team.

Execute and test designs that span the whole product life cycle from concept through to production using sketches, wireframes, low and hi-fidelity comps, user and interaction flows, lo-FI and hi-FI prototypes, specs, guidelines and production-ready assets.

Articulates design rationale, answers the key objectives and validate them with the product team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Is able to create a user research plan and synthesise insights.

Other requirements include
Expert knowledge in Figma.
Having worked in an Agile environment.
Up to date with all the latest native app design guidelines and platform conventions.
Good problem-solving skills.
