Eventida is looking for a HTML/CSS expert immediately available to work full time with the Eventida team on building highly interactive websites and apps, experimenting with marketing tactics and user experience designs.
The company specializes in creating accessible and inclusive experiences online and at events, by focusing on the user journey and implementing creative solutions, utilizing SAAS, ETL, AI, ML and other technologies, such as blockchain. The sectors they serve are nonprofits, schools, governments and their vendors.

There are two possible tracks for this position:
Front End Developer or UX Designer, with a background or interest in LX Design.
TRACK 1: Front End Developer:
The ideal candidate will use multiple disciplines and work with different platforms from Wordpress to API to PHP programming to HTML/CSS, to accomplish a variety of goals. Eventida is looking for an all star web developer, with at least a few of these up to date skills: HTML/CSS; API integrations; mobile; open source tweaking to advanced skill in programming languages such as JQuery, Ajax, PHP, MySQL, etc; and experienced with CMS (Expression Engine, Wordpress).
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in software, math, or science required or 5 years of equivalent experience. Analytical skills, understanding of company roles, and good teamwork is a must.
TRACK 2: UX Designer
The ideal candidate will be able to create adaptable, beautiful, easy to read, and professional website designs to spec in Photoshop and/or Fireworks, slice and turn them around into cross-browser, cross-platform and responsive HTML/CSS templates that will be used in Content Management Systems such as Expression Engine and WordPress.
LX Design background is a major plus. Learning Experience Designers blend the two disciplines of user experience and instructional design to create an experience for end users where they effectively learn - from how to use a new software application, to successfully passing a certification test after taking a full course online.
We are looking for forward-thinking instructional and user experience designers who are interested in creating fully accessible e-learning experiences. The work involves either creating new experiences from scratch, making existing learning materials accessible, finding and compiling accessible materials into a series, or a blend of all approaches.
In particular, we are interested in using metrics and analytics to study what kinds of e-learning methods are most effective for different groups of disadvantaged learners and sharing that information with the public.

Hourly Rate DOE, expected $30-80 per hour, with health benefits after 3 month trial if FTE
